quote from Joe Jackson
"I didn't know all this was going on," the elder Jackson, referring to Michael's drug use, said on Monday's Today show. Speaking for the first time since authorities ruled the King of Pop's June 25 death a homicide, Jackson, 80, said , "I'm not angry, I'm mad … Because I didn't know all this was going on."

What is the difference in the traditional use of the 2 words angry and mad?
Has he had his head in the sand since Michael died?

Don't know about sand, but that man's head has been up his ass for many years.

Oh heck he knew. He is a freaking idiot. He makes my skin crawl. He is almost as quilty as the doc IMO. He is a horrible father and human. He is just terrible. Is it obvious I don't like him??? LOL. I think being angry is much deeper then being mad. Angry is more dangerous then mad.

Maybe he meant mad in the psycho sense, and i'm sure we'd all agree he is indeed crazy!

I was taught that if you use the word mad you were referring to someone who is insane, suffering from a mental disorder.

Angry on the other hand refers to being: irate, upset, provoked to being angry.

There's no excuse for Joe Jackson. He was living off the "tail" of his son Michael. None of the family could be that blind. I know there's ways to hide drug use but I think this was out in the open...so to speak.

The mom I can't understand how she let things like that go on when they (The Jackson's) were young.

Reminds me of when Janet Jackson was on Good Times back in the late 70's/early 80's. She was an abused little girl that was adopted by the neighbor. Very eerie if you ask me.

Just seems like Joe Jackson doesn't/didn't care.

I agree w/freeplease stay away from the tweezers, waxing....he looks very strange.
