Family of Dead Man Freaked Out by Gravesite Voodoo Find
NewsWeird Stuff
33 CommentsPainful as it is to bury a loved one, at least delivering them to their final resting place should mean not having to worry about them anymore
Pilar Martinez Jr. can no longer take solace in that, after finding 22 jars filled of wax voodoo dolls with pins stuck through them buried two feet below the gravestone of his father, who died 13 years ago. To make the story even weirder, women's panties and photos of unidentified ladies were also found in the jars.
Houston-area voodoo priest (good work if you can get it) Dr. Congo doesn't think the Martinez family is in jeopardy, but acknowledges "whoever did the work was doing it to harm someone."
Police are looking for the grave desecrator, who could face a charge of criminal mischief, and the Martinez family is looking for a pastor who will fight off evil spirits by blessing the grave site.
