Would You Buy a Promo Code?

My sister told me she found someone selling promo codes and wanted to know what I thought about paying $8 for a $25 off code. She said she's looked and can't find a better deal anywhere -- I think she said it's for a gift basket with wine and chocolate.

I told her as long as she's paying with a credit card and can get a refund it it doesn't work, I don't see what she has to lose. Has anyone here ever paid for a promo code or seen a site that sells them? How did it work out?

people sell promo codes and coupons on ebay on all the time. No, I have never bought one.

Depends on if the promo code is a freebie one from the net or not. A lot of things sell that are readily available from the net.

Thanks for the comments. She ended up buying the code because she couldn't find a free one anywhere. The code worked at the checkout page so I think all is well. I'll check ebay to see what kind of codes they're selling there.

If you look at the top of this page on BBF you will sometimes find "Promo Codes Coupons" or "Promo Deals." It's the ads by Google and they are free.
