Dont they make a special cleaner for stainless steel? I would read the owners manual to see what they recommend.

While it may end up being more expensive, I'd go to a place that sells appliances and ask them what to use. I know Home Depot sells some sort of cleaner made for stainless. I just dont know how you put it on, how you wipe it off ect.

I use the Pledge multi-surface cleaner (blue bottle). I can use it on our wood table and our stainless steel appliances. When you clean them just make sure you go in a circular motion. I bought the expensive ''stainless steel'' cleaner from Bed Bath & Beyond, but hate it because it is really greasy.

What ever you do do NOT use bleach.. It stains the appliances. My sister learned that the hard way.. I use really diluted mr. clean and it works fine

I was gonna suggest windex or the pledge multi surface. I will use either one, depends on which one I can find the quickest.
And for the record, IMO SS really stinks!!! I wish we had just bought good ole white appliances! The SS show everything!

I work in a school kitchen that has stainless steel , fridge, tons of counters, dishwasher..EVERYTHING. We just wipe it down with diluted Lysol (to disinfect) but the secret is to dry it good after washing. That way you don't get streaks and smudges.

a friend of mine has a stainless fridge and she says it really shows everything. She just uses window cleaner without bleach. The bleach will dull the stainless, it will eat thru the protective coating that is put on it at the factory. I think that appliances really run the gamut. I remember when I was a kid, everyone had white appliances. Then everyone went to colors, like avacado (uck), brown, pink and blue. Then, everyone wanted black. Now everyone wants stainless. I bet it will not be long before everyone wants white again.

My mom had a really hard time getting fingerprints and smudges off of hers, and she tried everything.I had won a basket of Mrs.Meyers cleaning products a few years ago and gave her the stainless steel cleaner I had,she loved it!It is pricey, but you only need to use a teeny bit so if nothing else works try it.
