Slap Chop?

Has anyone ever used it? I saw it on TV and thought it looked like something I'd use, but wasn't sure about how well it works or not. Any thoughts?

I had something like this a few years ago, it was for chopping nuts. What a pain. I did not like it at all.

I have one of the very first versions of something like that. It doesn't come apart as easily but it's really helpful for chopping nuts (what I use it for the most lol) or anything else. Plus mine can be easily taken apart and put in the dishwasher so I don't have to wash it! :D YEAH! Mine also came w/ a grater. I definitely wouldn't pay that much tho. Check your local kitchen stores, they may not have that exact model but you'll be able to find a good substitute for half if not even less than that price.

Walgreens has it in their ad this week $19.99 get it there, that way if you dont like it you can return it and you dont have to pay the S/H either....

I have a cheap one and a Pampered Chef one. I like it pretty good. And I paid WAY more than that for just a chopper through pampered chef. I like my food processor better. When I cook, I fix more than that little bit. LOL Its decent for chopping a few nuts and some eggs for salad though.

We have something similar to that and it does a really nice job. It is easy to take apart and clean too. My MIL got it for my DH for Christmas a few years ago so I don't know how much it cost.

I have one I got from IKEA (their version), I think it was 9.99 0r 12.99, I love it and use it all the time..
