Okay so I sell stuff on eBay sometimes and I was wondering. For the shipping cost I always write exactly what it will be but then in my auctions I state that if the want delivery conformation then they will have to add$.75 for that. I also state that I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost items in the mail if they do not pay for the number.
So I was wondering if me saying that in the auction if that covers me through paypal if they never get their item?
Thanks.
Also I know someone asked this before but I couldn't find it, when you request a check form paypal how long does it take for you to get it?
Thanks

You should ALWAYS put DC on every package you send out. You have to have that to prove to paypal that it was sent and received. DC is free on priority mail and is worth it to pay for on any package. Just include it in your shipping fee. You will lose a paypal claim if you can't prove it was mailed.

I believe that paypals TOC of using them for selling on ebay is you use delivery confrimation, if you do not they automatically side against you. Do not say you add the 75 cents, just put it as part of your shipping price and list that you use delivery confrimation and it is non negoiatable

First of all, you should invest in a scale and instead of stating the set amount in your listing, enter the weight of the item and let eBay figure the shipping out for you. You can add in "extra" cost that the buyer will have no idea about to cover the delivery confirmation. I charge an extra $.50 for delivery confirmation, envelope, tape, etc. Second you should really start printing your postage at home. You get your postage cheaper and delivery confirmation is only $.18 for 1st class and free for Priority.
