Last night up until about 130am and then today from about 6pm up until about 10pm my cell phone wasnt working right. I didnt have signal where I usually do and in places where I had full signal I couldnt even call out or text they would never go through, with full signal it didnt tell me I had new voicemails, nothing. It was weird? lol My friend said he had the exact same thing happen to him but a couple other people said theirs has been fine. Weve been getting those pop up storms in the evenings but that wouldnt cause this it would just decrease the signal. Its never done this before

Did anybody elses phone do this?

Call your cell phone company and ask if there have been any outages recently. It's very possible the tower in your area lost power or was malfunctioning for some reason.

My house phone which is hooked up through my cable did this last night. It wouldn't work at all but everything else was working.

Sometimes the problems are not the tower sites but the satellite sites. I remember a couple of years ago no one in Orlando could use Nextel due to one of their satellites messing up - took them an entire day to get it re-routed. Bad weather can cause problems and interrupt service also.

I have Nextel and bad weather does effect our service

I've had problems with my cell phone when we are in the mountains.
There are so many places that you just can't get a signal.

I had to call today and have mine reset because a bunch of cell companies switched towers lastnight and they all went out. Or at least thats what the guy said to me.

Not a day goes by that I don't have some type of problem with my cell phone.

ATT sucks.

I'd change...but they're all the same. And all my family and friends have it, so it's free to call them.

I have to agree with 3lilpigs - I have AT&T and Nextel and I can't use my AT&T at my home (my personal cell phone) and I can't use my Nextel at my office (Work cell phone). It just depends on where their towers are located.

At least if you switched to us cellular you can get FREE incoming mins (unlimited) and then they could call you.....
Just a thought for you. I have had it for years. Actually only one I have ever had and NEVER had problems with it. My dh complains. But he works in a metal building. But this phone no problems at all. I do think I would ever switch companies I think they are one of those most competive in price around here.

We have AT&T, too. I don't really care for them. However, Nextel and Sprint were really bad. It's the lesser of the evils I think.

I can't use my cell phone in the house, garage. Can barely use it in the car. I usually have to be standing outside (not under anything) to get my phone to work.

Sure makes me miss Houston Cellular. I worked there for 5 years. Never once a problem with their service.

Mine is okay. I have TracFone and I use it mainly for texting. I currently have over 200 minutes so I can send/receive a lot of text messages now. Every time I get a message I do my "happy text message dance" to the music. LOL :D

My sister has Sprint and doesn't like it because they have messed up her billing before.

i have a virgin mobile phone, and would never go back to tracfone, just because of their crappy customer service.
