View Full Version : MyPoints - printable coupon points question

Did anyone else have this happen? I noticed my MyPoints acct balance went down by 10 points, so I looked at my acct. They added on 100 coupon points then deducted 110 to correct their error!
I guess the idiots are still working there...LOL I emailed them. Hopefully they will correct this and add on the correct coupon points I have coming. I do print and use a lot of grocery coupons thru their site since they usually pay the most for the prints.

Same here and I emailed them yesterday. They took 880 points from me and then gave me 100 "Goodwill points". I also told them that I print and use alot of the coupons from the mypoints site and once used you can't go back and get the coupon so why take my points away?

I don't know how the coupons work so I don't do it. It says you need to print and redeem them. How do they know when you redeem them? Seems a set up for a lot of confusion so I just do not bother. I have enough trouble with proving I did the survey mail, etc.

I don't know how the coupons thing works but it does or should I say it did. I know if I don't get the points back the only thing I'm going to do thru mypoints is the 5 pt click thro email (which will take forever to cash out).
I don't know how much they make but they have to make something when we go through them for the coupons.com and use the coupons too. I'll just by pass mypoints when I print coupons.
I don't do the survey mail, etc because it is hard to prove it also. I did them a few times and didn't get any points so I stopped doing them.

janelle...The coupons were crediting for 10 points each (about 6 cents), but I'm not sure how they are tracked. Now the site says something about winning a gift card when you print coupons, so I don't know if they are still giving points. I've never kept track of what I print and use, but do get credited for coupons.

Keep doing the surveys and questionnairs. They are both worth at least 10 pts and that is more than the emails. Go into your account, click on the survey name they post there and contact them about not getting your pts. Keep a record of when you did them.
I put down the day on my paper then when I contact them I say--- I did this survey/questionnaire on 3/11---or whenever it was---and never received the 10 or 50 pts---whatever it was worth---will I get the pts? So far they have always come through and given me the pts. Anymore they are good at giving me the pts cause they know I will contact them if they don't.

I just went to my account and noticed that I had 170 points taken off my account for the coupons. I think I am going to question this. I printed a bunch of coupons the other day, so why are they taking points away?

An error in reporting with MyPoints Printable Coupons caused a number of our members to be rewarded more Points than they had earned in February and March 2009. This means we over-credited your account, and then had to take back the extra Points. It has all been straightened out, and you now have the correct number of Points.
We?ve also awarded you 100 Points ? call them Goodwill Points ? to make up for any confusion or inconvenience.
If you want to see each part of this process in your Account Statement, here?s what to do:
- Go to your Account Statement
- View "All Activity," "Last 3 Months"
- Find the transaction with the description line "Coupons.com ? Activity Adjustment"
- Click to expand
- Click "See All related Transactions."
Once you?ve clicked through, make sure you see all three of these transactions:
- Reverse (The number of over-credited Points that were removed from your account)
- Error Correction/Action (Confirmation that an error in your account was corrected)
- Earn (100 Points credited to your account, listed as "Coupons.com ? Goodwill Credit").

I know I used alot of coupons from the site. Also back in January and February they took several points from me for the same thing 20 pts here and 40 pts there. So now they took 880 and I don't think they will give them back. Now I know I will not be printing and using coupons from their site. I'll just go right to www.couopns.com site until I get my points back.

OkeDoke, I got the same form letter a couple of days ago and emailed them back that my acct was not correct. So now they are "investigating". :rolleyes:
What really gets me is I can't even see back to February on my acct to see what was added on then! And I have had no other coupons.com points added to my acct for as far back into my acct that I can pull-up. (I used the ctrl + F and nothing else shows except what they did to "correct" their error!)
I print coupons from their site almost every week, so I think I should have had some points added on since February! And I don't remember ever having so many coupon points added to my acct that I thought I had gotten more points than I had coming.

I agree!! I battle with them enough ON other points. I have done the coupons and NEVER get points thru them OR QR! Plus if they are gonna take AWAY points........?
Now thats just plain MESSED UP!!:getyou

Has anyone gotten this coupon points problem settled with their accts yet? I think the problem is with Coupons.com.
MyPoints is telling me that Coupons.com said I only printed one coupon thru MyPoints during the months of February and March. I don't know how many I did print and used thru MyPoints, but it was certainly more than one!
