The other day, I tried to log onto the Harvard physcology to take a new survey I heard was up and it said that the administrator had block my account - no explanation or anything - I have only been with them a short time and can't imagine what I did. Then, the other day, I did the Keynote survey where they want you do go into your online banking and do different things - well I did everything and answered all of their questions (and it took over 1/2 hour) and this is what I got instead of my $10 gift card...

Hello ********,

Thank you for completing a Keynote customer experience evaluation. Keynote depends on its panelists to provide valuable feedback to our clients, who in turn help to support the Keynote Research Panel. As part of the terms for rewarding panelists, and to ensure the quality of our data, we require evaluation results to meet certain standards. Unfortunately, data from your evaluation did not meet these standards and, therefore, cannot be included in the aggregated results that we provide to our client. At this time, we are unable to offer you the reward specified in our invitation e-mail.

The decision to issue a reward is based on a combination of factors: completing the evaluation, quality and quantity of comments, and time spent viewing and interacting with the sites evaluated. We reward the majority of our panelists and would like to reward you in future evaluations. In order to ensure that your evaluation results will be approved and a reward will be issued in upcoming evaluations, we recommend that you spend time exploring the sites evaluated and pursuing the specified tasks. Remember to volunteer your thoughts and opinions using the comment button and in response to the follow-up questions.

Keynote is committed to the quality of its data, but also to the happiness of Keynote panelists. If you feel that you have received this email in error, or if you have any additional questions or comments, please e-mail [email protected].

It seems like a lot of them let you do the surveys then make up excuses why they can't pay youi.

I really haven't had those kinds of problems with survey companies. All have paid me and I've never not gotten payment or any kind of letter. I know that a few seem to be getting more "strict" with your answers, like they want longer answers, not just short ones.

Keynote is known for doing that to people who finish their surveys "too quickly." Even if you've done all that you need to do and said all that you need to say, take your time and move verrrry sloooowly when you do their surveys and you most likely won't get that message. What I love are the Greenfield ones that offer you a whopping $.50 for an hour of your time or a "sweepstakes entry." Woo-freaking-hoo.

Lately whenever I am finally eligible to take a survey for Global Test Market, I'll go through the whole thing and then they tell me sorry, you didn't qualify for the survey. I spend how much of my time filling them out only to be told I'm not getting the points, sometimes as many as 100 points! So irritating!!

I usually will do the keynote surveys for the amazon gift certificate...but this time around, when I got the invitation email, it said that you MUST log in using YOUR PERSONAL BANKING information... so I opted to skip that survey... no way am I willing to disclose my personal banking information (keynote has you download their tracking screen, so they can see you clicking on your monitor, etc... it's like a direct connect).

I would be very careful, since you really dont have any idea who is actually watching you click through and putting in your personal banking information.

Yeah, they've asked me to use my personal bank info before too. Never done it and never will. So not worth it for $10.
