Ok, my schedule has been absolutely packed lately (see my rant about my kids). Yet tonight, I have tickets to go see Bret Michaels Rock of Love Bus (Bus is the operative word in this story) Tour. It was a girls night out, fun with friends, maybe have a drink night.

The universe aligned, no baseball, no choir, no guitar, nothing at all tonight. All my friends could go. Yay me! Concert.......NOT.

They just announced that due to weather at the Vail pass Bret's Bus cannot make it over the pass!!! It was rescheduled to next Friday night. I can't make it then. I have things scheduled already. I can't get a refund, because it is due to weather, and they did reschedule it. It's not sold out, so I probably can't sell the ticket. $45.

Heck, yeah. Sometimes sacrifices have to be made and they don't all have to be made by you. I know you can get a refund, but what with the things have been for you lately, it would really be good for you to take care of yourself.

I'm sorry you're going to miss it! At least they are offering a refund now.

He's going to be here next month (I think!) and it's only $15 per ticket. Being military does have a few advantages!

I think I may be able to go. I called every name on the list last night, until I got the to man who actually certifies the scorekeepers. He said he would check his schedule, but he thinks he can do it. He will call me tonight. Cross your fingers and toes for me.

It was, but was rescheduled to a night when i have a game. I am the certified scorekeeper, I believe I have someone to cover for me so that i can go.
