Everytime I closemy laptop, it disconnects from the internet. Once I open it up it will reconnect but it's a pain!! I am sure it is in my steeings some where but I can't figure anything out on here. I was able to find and change when it hibernates but that is it.

can anyone help?????

I tried this on mine and it seemed to have worked,
Right click on your desktop. Go to properties
Go to your screen saver setting
Click on the Power button
Go to your advanced tab
Where it says
When I close the lid of my computer
Drop down the menu and pick
Do Nothing
Save and OK

When I right click I don't have that option.

Go to your control panel then to display. Then follow the rest of what I had said.
This is where your screen saver, desk top, themes, appearance and settings are. So if you know how to find those on your computer that is where you need to go to do the rest.

Control Panel/ Power Options... Click on the 'Advanced" tab and make sure your laptop power buttons are not on 'standby' Make sure it says "Do Nothing"

That is how I got mine to stop doing that crap every time I went outside with the lap top
