Michigan Man Who Fathered 14 Kids With Different Women Owes $530G in Child Support

FLINT, Mich. — Authorities in Michigan say a man fathered 14 children with different women and owes more than $530,000 in unpaid child support.

The Flint Journal reports 42-year-old Thomas Frazier was jailed Thursday. Court records say he owes six years of support payments.

The newspaper says the unemployed man could be held for 90 days if he doesn't pay $27,900.

Frazier says he thinks he fathered only three of the children and that it's unrealistic for authorities to expect him to pay child support that was $3,000 a month at one point.

Frazier remains held at the Genesee County Jail. It wasn't immediately clear if he had a lawyer who could speak for him.

I agree with you all. I''d make him stay in jail on work release till he paid every penny of that money. This is exactly why people shouldn't have one night stands and casual sex. They have no real feelings for each other so the man has no feelings for a child that comes from the casual sex or one night stand. So the child pays by wondering why their dad doesn't come around or care about them. Its not worth it for that one night stand.
And if he doesn't want to pay the child support then they should make sure they both use protection but I know you can still get pregnant any way.

There is ONE sure way for the woman NOT to get pregant and for the man NOT to be responsible for supporting his child - stop screwing around ! No sex - no baby - no problem. Unpopular an opinion that may be ... but it is simple and plain as day.

He is not employed and probably hasn't held a job for more than a couple of months. How are they going to get money out of him? He should stay locked up though, seems he can't help screwing around. He is a menace to society and the women are just stupid to get involved with such a looser.

I expect this from men, not paying their support. But I have been seeing more and more women that don't pay too. I even had one woman that screamed at me because they took her tax refund. She kept saying that child support is not a debt! You know me lol. I screamed right back and told her that was the worst debt ever! I don't know if I made any sense to her, but she shut up lol.

NASHVILLE, TN (WWBT) - A Nashville, TN man says he's fathered 22 children with 14 women, but doesn't have the money to pay their child support. "I was young and ambitious and I love women," Orlando Shaw told WTVF-TV. "You can't knock no man for loving women."

Shaw was taken to court by the mothers who are seeking years of unpaid child support totaling tens of thousands of dollars.

The State of Tennessee pays more than $7,000 a month to help support all of Shaw's children, reports WTVF.

Shaw told reporters he's proud of all his children. "I love my kids and I can care less about what anyone thinks about it," said Shaw.

Shaw has been jailed previously and could end up there again for non-payment.

They don't give the ages of the children ... but it seems that most of the women have had more then one child with this deadbeat ... why should the taxpayers be on the hook for the irresponsibilty of the parents ? The kids are the losers in this ?

A Tennessee man who has fathered a whopping 22 children by 14 different women has been pulled into court for unpaid child support.

Orlando Shaw, 33, of Nashville, told local News Channel 5 he'd lost count of how many kids he had by how many mothers – he mused he'd fathered "roughly" 18 kids with 17 women – but there was no way he'd ever be able to support them. "To be honest with you, don't nothing come to a dreamer … I go everywhere looking for a job, where am I going to get one with my lengthy record?" Shaw told the station, referring to a criminal record that has made it hard for him to land work.

Child Support Court Magistrate Scott Rosenberg told News 5, "How do we apply our child support guidelines to this many children in this many households?"

News 5 said Shaw would probably go to jail if he couldn't pay.

Shaw said he didn't regret having so many children, but was thinking about getting "fixed," or having a vasectomy. "I was just young and ambitious and I loved women. You can't knock no man for loving women," he said. "What I didn't know, when I turned 33, everything I that did from 16 to 18 is biting me now."

"I'm just hoping one day I'll get lucky and might scratch off the numbers or something. I play the hell out of the Tennessee lottery," he said.

"They're my kids, I love my kids and I could (not) care less what anybody else thinks about it," he added.

With the help of the state's child support services, Shaw's exes sued him for years of unpaid child support, the station reported.

So far, the state has been covering his tab, amounting to more than $7,000 a month to feed and clothe his massive brood.

Too bad his ambition wasn't for getting a job instead of how many women he could lay. But the women are stupid as well.

He looks like he spends a lot of money on himself. Dreadlocks and up to date clothes.

They should make him do public service if nothing else. A small way to pay back the welfare his kids are on. It would probably be the only jobs he ever had and it could teach him how to get out of bed, LOL, and go to a paying job each day.
