The FreeNapkin system is very easy to use simply claim items you want and then provide a positive feedback once you receive the item. You can also donate as well unused items. It is simple to upload your item onto freenapkin. The system casts-out the normal buyers/sellers and replaces them with the claimers/donators. When you become a registered user (becoming a registered user is quick and free) you can list any item around the house on your account. Once your item is claimed ask the claimer to leave you a positive feedback. Once you are a registered member of freenapkin your status is both a donator/claimer. You are not obligated to donate or obligated to claim as you can do either free of choice.

This is a nifty site!! I had no idea there would be so many GOODIES in my area!!! Thanks alot for this one!!!!
BTW...I did notice people offering "free" stuff with strings attached..such as free water cooler and water from the Culligen Company for 2 weeks. And free hair products with a service from a hair stylist....

Sight is totally bogus! Either phony email addys or no response at all when you get your item. Did a computer(same "seller", same email, same name, same exact item and picture) three seperate times. emailed moderater and was told(after second time) sometimes people forget they already gave item away. I think someone downloads craigslist stuff and runs it as there own as a gag. Sad.

thanks - also don't forget about your local freecycle group.
I leave all my freecycle mail go to web site only and visit when i have need so no cluttering my inbox - www.freecycle.org
ps. lots of people in my area are posting "wants" and getting them - like food, kids clothes. baby items - so sad

I registered thinking I could find a home for some stuff I have. Has anyone else had this problem, that after you register and click on something the "donator" is the same name for most of the stuff...even in different states? Not sure what that is all about but everything I click on says the person donating is givertrey -2. I am logged in so it should say the person's name and correct feedback right? I didn't get much sleep last night so maybe I'm just frazzled or something.

every thing they have advertised for my state, is the same exact stuff they have listed on our craigslist for our area.

I have to tell ya, I was completly thrilled when I first joined this sight, but I got to say, I think it is a bad gag sight.I have "bid" and won two items, three different times from two states(IN and OHIO) One refuses to contact me with nessacary info to "claim" this item and the other returned a "non existant" email addy. I recieve a rather ignorant reply from the webmaster about stuff being posted after it has been given away already and the complaint out weight the kudos 10 to 1. Dont waste your time and dont make this sight famous or high profiled. You have much better chances on FreeCycle or even craigs list. I completly retract my former post. Thanks for looking though.:getyou
