Anyone have them and which brands seem to be the best?
I heard LG but that seems to be the most expensive one...

We have this one and the matching dryer

frigidaire (http://www.bernies.com/catalog/laundry/washers/920324_frigidaire_27_3_5_cu_ft_front-load_washer.html)

I really like it a lot. It's a simple washer without too many bells and whistles

We have had the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer for about 6 years. We had moved into a new place at the time and needed to replace our old. We have been happy with them. They are very cost efficient and we can run really large loads if needed without straining the appliances. lol. I have noticed from time to time when ads show them that they have never gone down in price since then. Hm.

I have a GE set. I love them! I can wash my comforters without having to drag them to a laundromat!

I bought a Frigidaire set about 12 years ago and it still lokks and runs like new. I'll never get a top loader again.

I also have the maytag set and haven't had any problems- great for permanent press! Love to wash comforters in there and not drag them out to the Mat!
