Well if you've been there since one you probably have no more than two or three hours to wait. They take forever. My husband always goes as soon as they open and he gets out fast that way.

Have you seen Two and a Half Men when Alan made a appointment at the DMV so he did have to wait long. That was a funny one. I feel for you.

Thanks Hippie :)

I am home now.. It took us almost 3 freaking hours. I am so glad I don't have to go back there for a few years.

I think the people at our DMV are some of the rudest people on earth!!

My DMV is great. It's fairly large with lots of windows and seats. Folks are in and out of there in no time.

Our DMV (DPS) does not make appointments for anything but driving parts of a driving tests.
To renew you license, or get a license, or take the written part of a test: you sit and wait... or stand and wait. They only have 30 chairs!!!!
When my son turned 18, we waited 2 hours for a chair, and 3 moe to have the number be called; just to get MINOR and the under 18 state restrictions removed. But you have to go for that.
I renew online, once every 6 years!

Our plates and tags are down through the courthouse... The titles through TEXDOT. No one stop shopping here!

MIne isn't bad either, it's a small town so that helps. I'd prolly be a ***** too if I had to go there every day and put up with people who don't bring the right paper work and then get mad at them or other silly stuff like that. Not to mention they dont' make squat.
