We are in a Blizzard/Winter Storm Warning

We already got almost 8 inches of snow and it's still coming down pretty hard.

I have a feeling school is going to be cancelled in the morning. :getyou

Update:
School wasn't cancelled! Yeah
but now I have to deal with all the snow (hard drifted snow also) and cold by myself.

Well that sounds like fun. lol I've seen enough snow for a while too.

We've been having snow for the last 4 days but nothing is sticking (woo hoo!). Yesterday was horrible, it was like driving in a blizzard - I could barely see. It's so odd though, one minute it's nice and sunny and feels warm and then all of a sudden all you can see is white stuff falling everywhere.

We had 7" total yesterday, it was in the 30's today so a little melt and more snow coming in tonight in this area. Enough is enough for us all!

Just typical NW Ohio weather here. It's about 57 right now, an increase from 53 just a couple hours ago......and it's almost midnight! It has rained all stinkin' day. Then it's supposed to cool off for the rest of the week.

At least I'm not in Wisconsin with the hubby! He said that it's supposed to get down to 4 degrees tonight! I miss him, but due to the weather difference, I am glad I had to stay behind this time!

I am so ready for warmer weather. It was 70 here on Thursday, 50 on Friday and cold and nasty ever since. In the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday we got ice so bad they called school. Today its 8* with a windchill of -7. But the kids went to school so I am enjoying my day off in peace and quiet :)

But seriously, that's so unfair!! Okay, no it's not really. You do live in Alabama, after all. So, I guess it comes with the territory.

If you get a wild hair, try shipping some of that warm air north!! And send it "Express" with insurance so that it gets here FAST....and if it doesn't make it, there's insurance to replace it with more!! LOL!

Less than an hour ago,
my temp was -5 (actual)and the wind chill was -28.

this is just too flippin' cold

ITA! :yeah Maybe if I get some of that warm air from Alabama shipped to me, I'll try to forward some on your way!

Hang in there! Spring is right around the corner......I hope!

We always say that my Mom was from "LA" - Lower Alabama also. She was from Enterprise (near Dothan).

Just a note - it is 85 here at 4:00 in the afternoon. I would gladly send y'all about 10 degrees.
