Leave us alone. It's somebody else's turn.

My SD got out of the hospital today after being attacked by a shoplifter. They say if all goes well her face should be healed and her jaw unwired in about a month.

DD and her two kids have raging pink eye. DD starts her dream job Wednesday night so I hope she heals.

My oldest DGD has been sick off and on for months. Headache, body aches, sore throat, just like a constantly returning flu. She had blood tests today and the doctor has called us in tomorrow to discuss the results. They would not tell us a thing over the phone.

DS was released for full activity today after his foot surgery. Finally.

I am tired of being worried, scared to death about tomorrow and just generally stressed out. Please keep us in mind tomorrow.

How old is your SD? If she is over 21 I would recommend that you and your SD get a carry permit and buy a gun. I carry 24/7 except where it is federally not allowed. I am a single women who travels a lot by myself, so I need protection. I also carry a can of mace that fits on a key chain. I live in rural TN, big cities arent the only place that crimes happen, there has been 4 bussiness robberies and 3 home invasions

We're back. I don't know why they have to scare people like that, why they can't give you more info over the phone.

She has a sinus infection that has gotten so bad it's now in her blood. (May not be the exact info, we were a little stressed when listening.) They will give her one more round of oral antobiotics and if they don't work they will have to admit her and start IV drugs. Serious, yes, they told us, but nothing like what our imaginations had worked up over the night.

The doctor kept telling us it is serious, like he thought we were ignoring it, he just didn't know how scared we were of something else.

Geez Cabby. You definately need a break from all this. I hope that you have all the bad stuff for 2009 out of the way already.

Well, I'm glad it wasn't any of the horrible things I am sure you were thinking about. Just know that a blood infection is very serious and it requires agressive treatment. Hopefully this last round of oral antibiotics does the trick!

Poor dear...I hope she gets better real soon.
