View Full Version : My Mom has been diagnosed with cancer

My mom was just recently diagnosed with colon cancer. She sees a surgeon next week and she is awaiting her CAT scan results. We won't know until then if the cancer has spread. She has been ill for over a year and I begged her to get herself checked out but she was afraid to. I hope that once some of the tests come back we will have some encouraging news on her treatment. Please keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate it very much.

My stepdad has had colon cancer for about 1 and half now. He also had been having stomach issues etc. He was going to the doctor and they could never figure out what his was. I'm glad they caught it first time she went to the doctor.

tell her to keep her spirits up , i had cancer when i was 27 , cervical, but with surgery and treatments im still her and still making a pain of my self to my friends,,,,,,,,, lol , hugs to you both though all this,,,,,,:hug:hug:pray:pray:pray

I am so sorry. I, too, will you your mother and your family in my prayers and thoughts. Please update us once she has her surgery, which I pray the cancer is caught at an early stage and they are able to get it all.

Sending prayers your way. My mom also had colon cancer. As the doctors warned, she was not a "health horse" going in, yet, the surgery went well. I am sure your mom's will as well. I will most certainly pray for you tonight. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk at all. I mean that.
