President Obama has once again distanced himself from his campaign pledge to "find common ground" on abortion. Obama has nominated Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to be his Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Governor Sebelius' record shows no signs that she will be willing to find common ground on common sense restrictions on abortion, rights of conscience for health care workers, or anything else for that matter. In fact Governor Sebelius is known to be a close ally of notorious Kansas late term abortionist, George Tiller.

In April 2007, Sebelius honored George Tiller and his staff in the Governor's Mansion. The state was not reimbursed for the cost of this political event for over a year. According to records obtained by the Associated Press (AP), photographs from the event show Sebelius pointing with a smile toward Tiller, who is holding a Sebelius campaign t-shirt. Tiller is currently charged with 19 counts of performing illegal late-term abortions, and his trial begins this month.

I've come to expect this from his appointees.

So far, they are still calling it 'national healthcare'. When they refer to 'single payer healthcare', that's when you know we are ALL getting it and it's healthcare run by the gov. Which means, if you aren't politically connected, you aren't getting any.

They've already put into motion a system that will PREVENT people from paying outright for services. They're getting set up.....

What I need this admin to do is to DEFINE what healthcare is. So far, they haven't done that other than to know they want shots and mammograms. Healthcare in my mind includes ALOT more than that.

I decided to come back to annoy you liberals. Just think of me as the conscience that many liberals were born without.

It is really interesting what most of the liberals get away with saying around here. They even seemed to have a whole thread devoted to bashing me.
Maybe I should just take that as a sign that I'm doing a great job.

I do have to say this, if you open up a thread/post devoted to your departure, you're bound to get comments both positive and negative, It has nothing to do with you doing a good or bad job and it's not like anyone else started that thread.

Exactly what I thought. Another whiny "I'm leaving" post to garner attention and "oh, please, please don't leave" messages from other members. Pathetic.

ALL liberals? When start labeling people that's where some of the problems lie. There are plenty of us "liberals" that get along well with "conservatives" a lot of us have the same ideals in life but prefer to solve the problem in a different way. I've seen attacks from both ends of the spectrum. I've been on the receiving end from non-liberals. Do I care? not really.


ETA; I now remember why I spent quite sometime not posting in threads that relate to politics, lol.
