Who's making what next SUnday??

We are going to our friends house and I am not quite sure what to take. She is making Chili and corn bread and I thought about taking Fritos, for chili pie, but that doesn't seem like its enough.

Any ideas?

We are going to have dinner and then us girls' are going shopping while the guys watch the game, so I don't want to take something that needs tended to (stirring etc) :D

We are having a party at our house. People usually always bring stuff but I am making bbq meatballs, queso dip and chips, salsa, guacomole, cheese and crackers, sausages, veggie tray and little sandwiches. I know my neighbor is bringing brisket and my FIL and his wife are bringing homemade tamales.

Sloppy joes are always good in a crock pot.

I use 2 drained cans of hot Rotel, 1 2lb block of Velveeta- put it in the crock pot and you havhe a great hot dip. You can aslso add 2 cans of Hot Hormel chili if you like a little more substance to it.

My co workers makes it and you can leave it for hours and they can dip and scoop. She brings in the frito scoop chips.

The Rotel/Velveeta thing sounds kind of good, except I'm not really a big fan of Velveeta. Nachos seem like a good idea too.

Let me tell you- I hate Velveeta and refuse to eat it on anything. I prefer real cheese. But I've been eating this dip for years and love it. Trust me- you won't tasste the Velveeta.
