My baby girl.. she turned 10 in June. She is the youngest by a minuete ( she has a twin bro). She is my only biological girl, I have a 21 yr old SD. Anyways, I see her naked frequently.. she is always walking in on me getting dressed or me on her. No big deal. Well today she is just standing there and I happened to look at her and omg.. I saw buds. At first I thought it was just the shirt she was wearing, but then she changed shirts and it wasnt just the shirt. yep.. she is already getting boobies. I dont know how. I am flat as a board. ( although the rest of my family is C cup or bigger.)
I am so not ready for my baby girl to be growing up. I was like 13 before I needed a bra of any kind. I knew it was going to happen someday, but 10 yrs old??!!!
so bears...does your DD still have some training bras around that you can send?

My 12 year old wears one and the 9 year old (she doesn't need one yet .. lol) wears the ones that don't fit the 12 year old anymore.

But I'm not ready for her to be growing up yet!! LOL I knew it was going to happen, but even her sister ( my SD) was like 13 or so. I know when hers showed up, they showed UP lol. One day flat as a board, the next she was in a C cup.

I think that's how old I was too. It seemed like I woke up one morning and there they were. lol I went right into a c cup. I started menstruating at 9 years old. Girls seem to mature quicker nowadays.

So was I.......lol. I was so tired of the "bra" by the time I started Jr. High. Mine just popped out one day. I don't remember going to the store looking for a "pretty bra"....it was more or less mom came home, asked if this fit, it did, that was it. No more conversation, mention of it again. My dad was SHOCKED FOR DAYS....THOUGH. His oldest daughter (5 years older than me) didn't get a bra until she was 15. So, at 8 I guess it was shocking.
My niece on the other hand can't wait....and she's only 6. Her mother my ex-sil still doesn't wear one. She's not small or big either. She refuses to wear one. If she has another child I hate to see what she's going to look like.

I took my oldest bra shopping. Her first were the staple white ones, but we now buy the pretty ones. I can't help it, it's what I like myself .. lol.

The day I got my first bra, I showed the whole neighborhood. I was on the picnic table with my shirt off dancing for everyone. I wanted to be a Solid Gold Dancer at that point. My mom and grandparents were NOT pleased. LMAO

LOL omg. Yeah my DH said he noticed the other day. He never said a word to me . I think he is in denial. I am not in denial, just shocked . It seems like one day she is my baby, and the next growing up into a young lady. Oh and soo dreading her starting her period. I was almost 15. My older sis was 16, and my little sis was 13. But my mom was 11. .. she was supposed to stay my baby for always..

My oldest was 8. She is kinda chunky so We had to start early. She is also growing hair in unmentionable places and that scares me. The bra I can handle but the menstration is gonna be hard.

My DD was slow to grow and didn't need a bra until she was 12. She was the smallest in her class. By the time she graduated high school she was a 36C and 5'9".
I remember when she first started developing. I was so happy for her since she was a late bloomer.

I am so thankful sometimes that I had boys' yes there are still milestones but not bras and periods and rain coats are cheap though I highly recommend keeping that thing in their pants till they marry

LOL yeah I have 4 boys too, and when they started getting hairy legs and pits I was like oh no. But her.. she is tall and really skinny, so I am surprised that this boob thing has started so young. And she informed me she is getting hair in unmentionable places. Seems like girls are getting younger and younger. I wish I could keep her a little girl forever, but like it or not, she is growing up.

with this being a public forum and seeing as anyone could read this and there being lots of sickos out there do you think your daughter would be comfortable knowing you're spreading her "growing up" on the web like this? I can understand talking about this in person with some close friends or in emails, but putting it here just seems a little weird to me. Especially talking about getting hair in unmentionable places. Yes it happens to everyone, I just don't think it should be mentioned publicly especially in today's society.

My daughter was about 9 when she really NEEDED a bra. She got her period 2 months after she turned 11.
She is almost 12, and in a C cup.
No training bras for her: we started her in sports bras (aesier to put on) the after she was used to wearing bras, allowed her to pick what she wanted. She wears some pretty ones, colors and some just simple.
I did not hit a B cup, unless I was pregnant, until I turned 30!

I dont wear a bra at all. Only with certain shirts, other than that nope. I am barely a B cup, so I see no need. they are uncomfortable, itchy and a pain in the butt. Nobody can tell if I wear one or not, so .. plus it saves money cuz I dont have to buy them everytime I turn around.

Oh thank you thank you ..She will be happy. the 2 bras I had bought for her a while back are too small to even snap, and she says the sports ones are itchy. Sigh.
Got the pepsi and a cig.. trying to stay calm LOL.
