Mammogram news

A couple of weeks ago, my left breast swelled up. I went to the doctor and they couldnt figure out why. So they sent me for a mammogram. Well, had that done on Friday and they said it would take about a week for the results. I got the call today. The results were in..


and were NEGATIVE. So all is good in the boobage area lol. I didnt think nothing was wrong because the swelling was gone by the time I had the mammogram, but it was still good to hear those words.

I'm glad everything is ok. :) I know how you feel. I had 3 abnormal mammograms in 18 months. Last month was my 6 month checkup mammogram and it was good. I breathed a big sigh of relief and thanked God.

Oh, that is wonderful news! It's very very scary when you think you might have cancer. (I wonder what caused the swelling...the human body is very weird!)

I was sick when it swelled so I think my glands had swollen.. who knows. Yes it was scary cuz 1 grandma died from breast cancer at age 60, my other grandma died from another form of cancer at age 53... and my grandpa died from a massive heart attack at 45. I am 35, and as you can see we dont have long life spans.
I am glad I got it done tho, so I wont have to another til age 40 woohoo

Thanks. I was just surprised I got the results so soon. They said a week to 1 1/2 wks, well i got it done friday and got the results today. I aint complaining tho. Thanks for the hugs and good wishes
