I don't think he is gay, just nerdy. He will be ok as soon as his body grows into his voice. He has a great voice but he's one of those guys who don't look old enough to match it.

My dentist looks like a little kid too. The nurse had to warn me he really was a dentist before he came in to see me. He looked like Doogie Howser---like he was 12.
