I lost my mom in Jan. 2006 and my dad in Dec. 2008. I'd be glad to be of any help that I can. I think I am still in shock from my dad's death so I am not sure of giving too good of advice right now but I would try.

I lost both my parents. There are some days that I miss them so much. Especially when I am shopping and I see/hear kids disrepecting their parents! I would do anything to have them both here with me. My youngest sister has taken it the hardest. She suffers heavily from depression and has resorted to alcohol to suppress her feelings. PM if you ever want to talk.

I have pm'd several people -- thank you.

I made a dr appt for anti-depressants (per a suggestion)...if I let myself think too long, I start crying again.

I want to prepare, because it will be soon, but I don't know how or even if you can...because how can you prepare to be an orphan?

I appreciate the messages so far
