Fever and shaking

Im also looking for some information while trying to get my son in to see a doctor, but any thoughts on whats going on?

He has a fever, was 102.1 this morning, His hands are shaking...He has a sore throat.

He says he feels okay, was talking to friends this morning on phone. What would cause the shaking?

He is 15 years old.

Does he have the chills? I shiver and shake when I have chills.

He says he doesnt feel cold at all....husband thinks he has chills. This kid is so rarely sick I dont know what to think.

It sounds like he might be coming down with something. I know when I get sick the first indicator is the chills (shaking), fever/cold sweat, soar neck, soar throat.

Could be strep throat.My daughter had these things when she had strep.

sounds like strep to me. he is probably shaking because of the fever.
