Know of any Holiday Party games?

My hubby and I are hosting our first Freinds and Family Holiday party in December. We already have Santa coming and we've got folks coming from everywhere, alot of kids of all ages. I want to include some fun stuff for everyone, games, easy crafts, etc. Any suggestions? Also any good potluck type recipes? I am open to any and all ideas! Thanks in advance!!

We played a game at Christmas time, everyone brought a gift. A guy brought a guys gift, and girl a girls gift. Put them in seperate piles. Everyone who got a gift got a number. Number 1 goes and chooses gift out of the pile, and opens it, number 2 goes and chooses a gift out of the pile, or can take #1's gift. Number 3 can go choose a gift from the pile, or choose #1 or 2's gift. And it keeps going. Its fun if you have some brave people in the family.

We played a game kind of like 20 questions. You would have a sign on your back with holiday words like Santa, snowman, poinsettia... and then you had to guess what your word was in 5 questions or less. I don't remember if there was a prize to the winner(s), but we had a lot of fun. Or maybe it was the free flowing wine that made it seem that way :lol

For the kids, every year, we have the "Christmas Pickle" It's a glass ornament that looks like a pickle, and it's hidden on the tree. The first child to find it, receives a spcial gift...usually a box of candy.
