Question: When is asking for photo ID not racist?
Answer: Only when race card-playing Barack Obama, opponent of photo ID requirements at the voting booth, is worried about security at his Election Night party in Chicago.
This is just too, too rich. http://minx.cc/?post=276796
Priorities: Obama Doesn't Want Photo ID to Vote, But He Does Insist on Photo ID to Attend His Would-Be Victory Party
Can't have people showing up to a party not entitled to be there, after all.
But voting?
Come one, come all.

The ONLY time race cards are played is when you Mccain supporters paly it. For f*ck sakes this is really getting old. It's really pathetic when "Christians"
*cough* act with such bigotry. It's only racist because you make the choice to make it as such.

No - when they can show 200,000 "suspisious" voter registrations in a state where the SOS has promised to "deliver" Ohio to Obama - when they can PROVE Acorn is fraudulently signing up people to vote multiple times ... when Obama and the Democratic Party declare it is DISCRIMINATION to require Photo ID cast your ballot - while homeless persons are allowed to use a PARK BENCH as a "legal address" to be able to vote .... BUT they have to show PHOTO ID to get into Bararak's PARTY ??
The irony is thick enough to slice with a knife.
( need a mint for that cough ? )

Do your home work, Obama has brought up his race several times. I havent heard many racist comments on any stations. But I remember that speech where Obama said they will bring up his race. Name the news people, politicans, newspapers etc that have used the racial slurs at Obama. I found most walk on pins and needles to avoid that issue. Most are in Obamas pocket.

What I don't get is this...... If you are pulled over & have no ID on you, you get arrested yet you don't have to show ID to vote. You need it when you do your banking, when you get a job etc. What is so hard about producing an ID & don't tell me the poor people don't have any IDs because as a citizen of the USA, you are suppose to have some form of ID on your person everytime you leave your house.
You can be 70 yrs old & be refused an alcoholic drink at a bar for no ID.

In this day and age, it is hard to imagine not having an ID, but it isn't against the law. Requiring a ID would be much the same as having to carry "papers" in order to go about your everyday life. This is one of the reasons that a national ID system has been fought against, it infringes on our Constitutional Rights.
Yes, not requiring an ID to vote leads way to much "cheating" at the polls, but it is a slippery slope when wanting ID required in order to exercise our Right to vote. The only time that an ID is required is when you do not have a voter's registration card. If you have your voter's registration card you are not required to have an ID. There are actually a lot of people out there that do not have an ID, picture or othewise.
Even though I know people are out there cheating, I would have to say that I have to support the Right to not be required to have an ID in order to cast my vote. Even though when I go to the poll, I pull out both my registration card and my ID.
