It's disgusting outside. It's cold, no sun, rainy (drizzly rain yuck!). I got cancelled t the lat minute this morning. There is NOTHING to do. My house is clean (for a change), my laundry is done, and my little guy wants to watch Batman. I hate days like this. I really do.

Plus, I don't think the humidity is helping with my overall soreness. And I refuse to use Bengay. I don't want it getting into the wrong places. :lol

I know how to pay Gayleane back. Let's all hitch a ride to her house and make ourselves at home.

We have sunshine but last time I was outside, it was cool.

Mead , or "honey wine", is a beverage typically alcoholic, made from honey and water, by fermentation with yeast. The alcoholic content may range from that of a mild ale to that of a strong wine. Mead may be still or sparkling. Depending on local traditions and specific recipes, it may be brewed with one or more spices. It may be produced by fermentation of honey with grain mash; mead may also, like beer, be flavored with hops to produce a bitter, beer-like flavor. Unless a bittering agent such as hops is included, mead is sweet.

Mead is a honey based wine. It's really good and can be anywhere from sweet to very dry. DH's is typically middle of the road - about the same as wine. Except his mead is far more flavorful and it's a lot more potent too. It's about 18% alcohol where wine is about 10%. He makes all sorts of different flavors too. Blueberry/elderberry and blackberry are my favorites. He made one based off a cranberry relish that I make at Thanksgiving that is really good too.
