15-Year-Old Leads Police On Chase
High-Speed Chase Ends In 3-Car Crash

WESTLAND, Mich. -- A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a chase that ended in a serious crash.
The crash happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said the Redford teen was speeding while driving eastbound on Warren at Wayne roads when an officer tried to stop him.
He then led police on a chase, and eventually lost control at Merriman Road, hitting a Honda Accord and a Ford van, which police said were stopped at a red light.
Police said the driver of the Honda Accord has serious injuries. The driver of the Ford is said to have minor injuries.
The 15-year-old boy was treated for injuries and released. He is in police custody while officers investigate the crash.
