Our gas stations are teasing us around here. The prices were dropping 5c a day or more then all of a sudden 1 cent a day. Our lowest price is $3.01. But, in Mobile and Pensacola they are saying it is as low as $2.40 in some places.

I have to fill up Thursday, so there wont be any significant drop till after then, or that's the way it usually works.

In Chicago, I paid $3.69 yesterday and that was one of the cheapest stations. We always have the highest gas prices thanks to our wonderful Cook County taxes!

I saw it for $3.15 here, but the local news was reporting that at least one station dropped to $2.99, but that station is about 5 miles from me.

We got it for $2.55 Sunday in Sandusky, OH. It is still $2.99 where I'm at. The strange thing is it is only about 20 minutes away.

While at lunch I saw it for $3.09 at the City Market, if you use the card it is either $3.06 or $2.99 depending on your reward that month.

It's down to $2.89 here outside Philly down near the delaware border. It's sometimes cheaper in delaware by about 5 cents.

I think hubby said it was 2.89... in the next county over from me they were price fighting for the lowest in one neighborhood and it went down to 1.85. That only lasted for a day, though.

Yes. we're 200 miles north of you and it get's higher the closer you get to NYC. It's $2.59 a few towns out.

Paid 2.89 last night and drove a couple of miles and another gas station had it for 2.79 it may not be where it use to be but it's still saving me $24 and my Dh $30 per tank of gas!
