OMG I used to watch that when I was like 5 and waiting formy mom to come home. I remember I would sit at the window and watch V with my grandparents and look out the window at the same time. THIS IS AWESOME!

V was a movie that was made into a series. It is about a group of aliens that come to earth with what appears to be friendly intentions. It turns out that that isn't the case and they are here to take over Earth. V stands for "Visitors". There is of course an underground movement to win over the Vistors and take the planet back and destroy the Visitors.

V was a tv series in the mid 80's that was about aliens invading earth and the people who were rebelling against them. I think they were using humans as food. Can't really remember. It did star Marc Singer.

Dh would love this if we had cable or satellite. I didn't watch it then but dh watched it alot in reruns on sci-fi.

The 80's series focused on seemingly benevolent aliens coming to Earth with the the promise of sharing advanced technology in exchange for some help with their ailing planet. Unfortunately for the human race while they looked human underneath they were secretly lizard-like creatures who'd come to steal our water and enslave us.

Oh wow, V! I read the book I picked up in a used book store. I loved that movie. Should be interesting to see how it's remade.

OH, be still my quivering heart. Thank you for letting us all know. Loved that series. Maybe there is some hope for some good TV now. Lately I have been kind of disappointed with what is offered. The previews look so good and so I watch the show and it does not do anything for me. The only drama anymore that I really look forward to is "24", and I have to wait until Nov. for that.

I loved it as well. Corny, but it was good. It gave my son nightmares (he was around 5). We didn't let him watch it, of course, but he saw the commercials for it.

Kinda off-topic question for the people that liked this show.I initially thought the op was talking about a different show.It had aliens too,but(If memory serves me right)they were friendly and there was an alien lady(actually looked kinda freaky)that was in a relationship with an American guy.Now that the topic brought this memory back I have to find out what it was.
