Does anyone remember an 1980's television series - maybe with Joe Penny and Dirk Benedict featuring a pink helicopter ( Chinook maybe ) and a sweet candy apple red 'vette ?

Are you confusing Dirk Benedict with Perry King? Dirk Benedict was on A-Team.

Riptide is the answer .... I told Becca that you guys were better then Google ! I owe her a moo-latte. I didn't not remember a show with a PINK Chinook named "Lu-lu" and insisted that it was her imagination.

I was wrong. :(

That was like my husbands favorite show when he was little. He used to make fun of me because I used to work on the same helicopter in the Navy. Its a Sikorsky. UH-34. And its name on the show was SCREAMIN' MiMi.

and.. the first time he told me about the show., I didn't believe him & thought he was insane. He had to wikipedia it for me to believe him., then I was like OMG Thats the SeaHorse!!!
Nobody ever mentioned RipTide & the Screamin' MiMi when I was in the Navy...... WEIRD! lol!
