Product recall: Jalapeno Nacho Slices

Peppers Unlimited Inc. is recalling 580 cases of La Torre Jalapeno Nacho Slices because of a possible chemical reaction between the product and the can. The reaction might cause a swollen or ruptured container and affect the flavor. No illnesses have been reported, according to the Fontana, Calif., company. The recalled product, packaged in 425-gram cans, was sold nationwide through food distributors and food retailers.

eek! I have jalapeno slices, but not this brand and they are not in a can, got mine way before the salmonella scare so hopefully they're safe.. ugh doesn't seem like anything is safe anymore... I'm just waiting for my turn to get sick :( how sad is that
