My daughter is getting married next year and is having a wine themed wedding. They are getting married at a vineyard and for wedding favors we are going to have a wine glass stuffed with taffeta wrapped candy and used as a place card holder.
I am trying to find 'discounted' wine glasses. nothing fancy just plain old glasses...for 300 YIKES!! so far all I can find is over $1 a piece.

I thought to myself....wait a minute, I bet those on BigBig could find some deals...so any suggestions????

For 300, $1 a piece is a decent price for glass. You can look into the plastic ones from Dixie or Chinet that are 12 or so in a package. We have a place called 99Thunder (like the dollar stores) that carries them.

I don't know if any of those would work for you but there's some that are $5 for a dozen...of course they are plastic

Yup, Oriental Trading rocks when it comes to themed stuff... When we owned the floral shop (1986 - 1994), we ordered from their catalog all the time !

I am a floral designer, I do mostly weddings now, and do all kinds of themed stuff... I love it !

Some 'fake' grapes laying around on the tables randomly would be awesome too.
