Protect your pets from harmful rays.
Guarding against sunburn is an important responsibility for pet owners. Don't assume all that hair will provide sufficient protection. Pets are susceptible to sunburn, especially breeds with light skin. The nose can be particularly vulnerable. So, be careful out there. And after a day in the sun, check your pet's nose, ears and any other skin areas not shielded by hair for redness. Dryness and flaking can also be signs of overexposure. See your veterinarian immediately.
