Victory day.. We are the only state that observes this holiday..Which means all state offices are closed today...

Does your state observe any holidays that other states don't?

Not a statewide day off but at the U of Chicgo they observe suicide prevention day in lieu of Matin Luther King.

Casmir Pulaski Day in Chicago is the first Monday in March.

MA celebrates too..but I never heard of it until last night when I was asked to babysit so my SIl coudl go out and said the bars were closing late because of Vday.
She said she though it was a holiday for dj's. She's a moron.

Its not really a holiday.. but several counties in WV have the first day of deer hunting season off..LOL

DH had the day off yesterday because he works in RI. According to Wickipedia RI is the only state that still celebrates it.
