I missed this too. My last grandparent passed in 1983, but hubby still has his Nana who is 96 and her health is failing. It's so hard to lose a loved one. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless!

Thanx again guys. He would have been 92 today. My grandparents raised me since I was 3 weeks old, so really were my parents.

So sorry for your loss. Hard to loose anyone you love, especially a 'parent' which you grandpa was, your parent. Remember the good times, the sillies, the disipline, the fun, the birthdays and other times. Huggles, Nanajoanie

I have his wallet with all his things in it and his Bible. It's full of pix, newspaper clippings etc. Also, he always made notations in the margins of his Bible and it also had some sermon notes in there, probably 10 years old. And some love notes between him and grandma and they are so sweet. Also found a pic of he and I when I was a baby and it's one I had never seen before.
It's sad to look thru them, but it made me smile as well, to see those things he thought important and that he kept for so many years.

I am so sorry about your "daddy" as well Connie. I can't imagine. I am glad that you did get a few of his most important life things. I think its great that you got his Bible, as you have spoken numerous times of him being religious, you really got the best thing, something that money couldn't buy. Hugs to you!!!
