I put the "diot" in "IDIOT" last night~~LOL

Last night i decided that fat boys cant do without their ice cream so i get my butttttttttttttt out of the easy chair in front of the air conditioner and waltz into the kitchen. I so very carefully open my freezer door so as not to let my bucket Blue Bunny cookies and cream ice cream fall from its precious perch and damage any of that precious fatboy desert. I so very carefull took it out of the freezer so as not to damage it and pulled the lid off and started to cautiously remove spoonfull after spoonfull into my man size bowl so as not to drop a single drop and waste the precious goods. After i got my bowl full i carefully put the lid back on it and left it sit on the cabinet countertop as i thought i just mighttttttttttttttttttttttttt want more. Sauntering slowly back in to the living room to sit in the easy chair in front of the air conditioner and tv making sure not a drop fell from the bowl. I begin to slowly eat my precious BB cookies and cream tummy satisfying ice cream slowly savoring each bite like it might be my last bite of ice cream. I finished the bowl and set it on the coffee table and you guessed it...............i fell asleep. When i awoke at 11pm i got up took the bowl into the sink and went to bed. Got up this morning and did the things i needed to do before going to work at 6 am and off to work i go. Come home at dinner and to my horror............i look on the counter and to my horror.........yep you guessed it. ....................i left the dang bucket out all night and half the day......my tummy did flips knowing that it wasnt going to get any more of that precious cookies and cream ice cream ............
Tonight i had a funeral for my bucket of precious dessert.............

There is a lesson to be learned from this!!!Do not EVER put ice cream in a bowl. That is why it comes in a bucket--you eat it right out of the bucket. If there are 2 of you (example-husband and wife) you take a knife and measure it very carefully down the center and one eats on one side and the other on the other side. There are exceptions, if the wife sees alot more goodies on husband's side she detracts him and steals a scoop of his-the part with the extra goodies.

so sorry for your loss. but look at it this way you only lost a bucket. When we lost power we lost a bunch!! You should have invited me to your funeral i could have brought some of the empty buckets. LOL
No longer have the boxes for popsicles etc however.........
I am NOT a big ice cream eater. Only in the summer when its really hot (like now) but i like just reg. popsicles. I feel your pain tom.
