Would you fish your sunglasses out of the toilet??

SO they are doing requests on the radio and the guy playin the music was talkin to this woman that called in and he was saying that when he and his family went on vacation earlier this year they stopped at a gas station to use the bathrooms and(i assume after he flushed) his sunglasses fell into the toilet(they were on top of his head) and he said he fished them out and washed them in hot water and used wet wipes or whatever on them and put them back on his head...the person he was talkin to asked him why he would wanna do that and he said because they were expensive like $80 glasses and he wasnt about to leave them...

Now my question is this....would you fish your sunglasses out of a toilet or leave them?

I sure would of cause if i didnt my luck they would of found out they were mine and sent me a bill for unclogging the toidy pipes

I would have pulled them out and thoroughly washed up.I figure the lock that everyone touches is probably even more germy.

hell yeah I would have... I wouldn't have liked it and probably spent the next 30 mins washing myself and the glasses, but they would not have been left. :lol

I don't wear sunglasses so it's not a problem for me lol but my 13 year old would fish hers out, she did last Christmas. She got a pair of Baby Phat sunglasses from "Santa" and we were at the store the day after Christmas and she dropped them in the toilet and grabbed them out really fast cuz our Walmart has automatic flushing toilets.

No I would not fish them out. I go to the dollar store to get mine. Not worth sticking my hands in there. I will pay a dollar to get another pair.

It's been over 30 years since I've done this but......when I first starting wearing contacts (hard ones) one fell into the toilet. Yes, I stuck my hand in there, got it out. I could just hear the wrath from my mom when I'd only had them about 6 months or so.

So yes, I would fish out sunglasses. I may not use them anymore but I'd take them out of the toilet.

Don't ask me about the contact thing. It just flew out of my hand and landed in the toilet. It's never happened since and I make sure if the sink is by the toilet I close the lid now.

of course. Why throw money down the toilet so to speak? Everything in a public restroom is nasty, the toilet water is probably the cleanest thing there. In the US we use sterile water in our toilets. How many times as a kid did you pick up a piece of sticky candy or gum off the ground and eat it, dirt and all?

Yes, I would find something to fish them out with, or, at least I'd try... like a screwdriver from one of teh vehicles tool box, or, a wire hanger, a stick even ! But, yes, I'd get them, I couldn't leave them.

I would fish them out of my toilet and if the toilet in question looked pretty clean I probably would get them out of that too. I wear glasses that change so I would need them to actually see with.

Well, at first i would say no! if it was in a public restroom i would leave them there. anyways mine are always inexpensive. secondly if it was at my house i woul suppose i would get them out with a stick or something or else it wont flush. then dispose of them! my mom did however get hers from a fountain in the paris casino in vegas!

Since I'm sure everyone hates a clogged, overflowing toilet (even if it's public) I'd say yes. However, my sunglasses would be so totally disinfected afterwards that they would probably be cleaner than before I bought them....who knows how many faces tried them one before me??? Not to mention where their hands were last!!!! A better question is your toothbrush. Yes, I would still fish it out but I'd DEFINITLY toss it in the trash...hey you don't want that clogging your toilet either!!!!!

if they were expensive i would fish them out. But if they were really cheap i would only fish them out of my toilet to keep it from clogging.
