Does anyone have a pizza crust recipe? Sometimes I just make pizza on toast but I would like a recipe, not one that I buy because the calorie count is so high. I want a recipe I can make and substitute what ever I need to , to make the calorie count lower.

2/3 C water
1 T olive oil or veg oil
1 3/4 C Bread flour
1/2 t sugar
1/2 t salt
1 1/4 t regular active dry yeast or 1 1/4 t quick acting active yeast

This recipe is for my bread maker. So you will have to let it rise a couple times. Bake at 400' for 18-20 minutes.

You can also add 1 T grated Parmesan cheese and 3/4 t basil, oregano, thyme or italian seasoning to make Herb-cheese pizza crust.

You can also decrease flour to 1 C and add 3/4 cup whole whear flour to make whole wheat pizza.

There are so many listed here: http://search.foodnetwork.com/food/recipe/pizza+dough/search.do?searchString=pizza+dough&site=food&gosearch=&searchType=Recipe

I have made this one and it was a good basic recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/basic-pizza-dough-recipe2/index.html

the last one I used we really liked and used the bread machine for it... awesome! but I don't know where that recipe is, I think it was off of the bread machine manufactures website HTH
