I finally left him!

A couple of weeks ago, I finally left the boyfriend that was being very jealous and controlling. I couldn't take it anymore, and told him so, but of course he begged me to stay. But the next morning, I packed up, dropped his kids off at the sitters and took off. I have felt so much better. Besides on the day that I left, the real love of my life that had to go away a year and a half ago, that I lived in tennessee with, has come back into my life, and we are now making another go of it. So I'm the happiest person I've been since the last time I saw him. My dumba$$, should have waited anyways for him, instead of getting involved in another relationship. So even tho the jerk was mentally and a few times physically abusive to me, I thought about it and know I did nothing wrong to provoke the way he is, he's the one that had problems, and nobody deserves to be treated like that. I just wanted to let you all know, because I got some great advice when I posted about this before, and also to let you know, this is one person that won't be in the obits anytime soon.

I think jealousy is such a wasted emotion .. you either trust the person you with, or you don't. Simple as that in my mind.

That sounds like both my ex-husbands, well #1 wasn't controlling just very jealous, insecure and I stayed for 16 1/2 years...#2 was very controlling when we had separated he had threatened to hit me, that was the last straw.
