remember how I said my house was soooooooo hot well I found out what it was and it only cost me 10.00 to fix it. If you house is getting hotter then it has in the past don't be so fast to call someone out for freon. Go outside to your outside unit and take the hose and one of those nice sprayers and clean out those coils yourself. Be sure and turn off your ac first so that you can look down in there and see when the water starts running clear. Mine was full of grass.

Its nice when it doesn't take a lot to fix the problem. I'm glad you found out what it was.

That & changing your furnace filter thingy. A dirty filter can cause all kinds of problems! Learned that after a $50 service call last summer, now I make sure ours is changed every month & a half since we have indoor pets.

I can see grass outside, but how do you get cotton in there?

I am all about saving money if I can so I like to pass these things on to others so that they might save money too

Cotton here is bad at times and get in and on the back of the coils clogging it up so that air can not get to it, thus making it work harder and innefficient

Ohhhhhh, I see....we just have pollen and humidity, no cotton. Thanks for explaining. All I could visualize was someoen sneaking up and stuffing the coils full of cotton balls.........
