I have some lavendar growing in my garden, and I'm never sure if I'm watering it too much or too little. It's starting to get yellow leaves, and I think that means it's getting too much water. Am I right?

Yes, you are correct ! :D Too much watering = yellow leaves, and could even cause root rot. In the floral business, I did very little with plants, I am a floral designer... live and silk arrangements... but I know we remove any yellowing leaves, and hold the water a bit.

Thank you! I thought that was the problem, but "someone who should know" kept insisting I wasn't watering it enough. But I've always heard it doesn't want much water.
