I had to start early lol. I am making homemade beef stroganoff. Using the rest of my Amish made noodles. :D thinking asparagus as a side, don't know yet on that.

Tonight its just DS and I and I am making spinach ravioli and garlic bread. Its one of his favorites so I am trying to bribe him with it to get him home. LOL He is such a social butterfly that I havent seen him much all summer. :)

You don't have access to Dutch noodles all the time? Is that a treat for you & your family? I'm not too far from Lancaster county so I tend to take our food for granted.
I think I am going to do steamed shrimp & fried cabbage tonight!

I'm only about 20 minutes from the Amish,so I go about once a month.

after furneral yesterday I came home and cooked some potato salad and baked beans and son cooked chicken on grill so guess we will have leftovers

we'll be having either lasagna or we are going out with a friend to the best Mexican joint in town.. well it looks like the lasagna, and going Thurs to the Mexican joint..LOL

Im going to have a salad:) got some ham and leftover chicken in fridge to add, along with grated cheese, cukes, mushrooms....the works. I do love my salads:)

possibly monterey chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli
edit- no jack cheese, so lemon pepper chicken, rice and broccoli

I have chili going in the crock pot. Going to serve that with a nice garden salad and corn bread.

its my youngest daughters birthday and the family is going out.
Petit steaks with onion and mushroom sauce, garlic mashed potatos, and broccoli that my kids won't eat so they'll get corn instead. Somone posted about chili and that sounded really good so I'm going to thaw some meat and make that tomorrow. :)

everyone seems to cook so good, makes me starving by the time I am done reading what everyone is cooking lol
dh is working late so having something quick tonight....we are having chorizo breakfast burrittos....havent had them in a long time and it sounded good:)

was going to do steaks and baked potatoes on the grill, but I can not get the propane tank to open, sigh. Have not grilled all summer
