Just got off the phone with my sister Rose :) She said she's going to send me a picture of my dad she said when she saw my picture on myspace she said we have the same nose and the same smile she also told me some personal things don't really want to put them up here though anyways here's his obituarie

May 13, 1944- June 25, 2008
Edgar “Buddy” Joseph Keaton, 64, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Pedro native was born May 13, 1944, the son of the late Ovie and Edna Summers Keaton.
Buddy attended schools in Decatur. He loved outdoor activities such as fishing and looking for ginseng. He was dedicated to his family and was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by:
a sister, Phyllis Keaton; and two grandchildren, Hope and Faith Friend.
He is survived by two daughters: Rose Friend of Ironton and Dendy Shepard of Fort Myers, Fla; a long time companion: Mildred Friend of Ironton; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Pat Keaton and Erma Kay and Carl Large, all of Pedro; brother and sister-in-law: Wendell and Donna Keaton of Waterloo; six stepsons and five daughters-in-law, Allen and Tammy Friend of Coal Grove, Robert and Bonnie Friend of Lakeland, Fla., Roger and Kathy Friend of South Point, Rodney Friend of Ironton, Tim and Elizabeth Friend of Ironton and John and Ladonna Friend of Ironton; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Friend officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery.
