WHOOOO HOOOOO! He accepted an offer today from TA (Travel America, a full service diesel truck stop/shop)! He graduated June 20th (will post pictures later) from Wyo-Tech in Wyoming. He has a diploma in Advanced Diesel Technology and an Associates degree in Business Management. Thought he was taking a job in Illinois at ATS but this one came along and he liked it better. He will be living in Oak Grove Missouri, by Kansas City, only about 3 hours from home. He will be assistant manager at the shop. Starts out at $34,000 a year plus quarterly bonuses and $150 a month to pay towards his student loans. Also has medical insurance, 401k and all that good stuff. He starts on July 16th. Monday he and I are going up to Oak Grove to try and find him an apartment. I am just so flipping excited and happy for him. I am so doing the happy dance! He is only 19 will be 20 in September.

Now if my DD could just find a job! She graduated in May with a BS in Geology and a minor in Biology. Oh well, one down and one to go!

Thanks everyone. I have been on cloud nine all day, calling everyone I know and bragging. LOL! I can't wait to go look at apartments with him, it has been so long since just he and I did something together, it will be fun.
