I watch it alot, I did make one thing from a Bobby Flay Throwdown, when he had the brothers who made the best meatloaf, I tried it how they made it and it was by far the best meatloaf I had ever made. I learn alot from food network.

I watch mostly Iron Chef (both versions), Good Eats, some of the cake / pastry competitions & Next Food Network Star.
I learn alot., but I don't cook anymore. Not really cook., not like I used to.

I just remember them saying, don't use raw onions in your meatloaf mixture, that they should be sauteed first and not to put the meatloaf in a loaf pan but just to shape it on a cookie sheet so that all the sides could crisp up and cook evenly and also to top it with the Ketchup before you bake it.

hummm will have to give that a try...I learned that when making a soup or stew that you should put like your onions and potatos in and kind of cook them for like 5 minutes so that it does not take as long to cook...cool the faster the better for me
