Thanks. He is pretty calm for a 13 year old but I still hear the mouth from time to time. Definitely could be worse!

I'm pretty sure it was 24 weeks.... her uterus ripped open, so they HAD to take him...he literally was in the hospital the first year of his life (there was soooo many complications) and he is still affected by some. That's why everytime I see his pictures, it literally melts my heart, it is truely a miracle. He actually was in a coma for I believe 3 days with NO brain activity.... When Michelles gets on today, I will have her explain in detail....

That's only some of what he went through, he is strong, he always fought.
He is so happy and vibrant too:) I always tell Michelles that God has a plan for him, you don't just survive everything he went through for nothing ya know.

Aweeee thanks D!! I had a beautiful pregnancy and was so excited to finally be pregnant. My uterus ruptured at 24 weeks and 1 day. Now mind you, i had just seen the doc and had a ultrasound the day prior. He was born at 24 weeks and 2 days seeing his birth time was 1:17 am. Zane weighed 1 pound 2 ounces and was 13 inches long. He was born blue and his apgar scores were 0 for the first 5 mins. There was so much lack of oxygen, they said he didn't have a quality future. My was he a fighter though, to make a long story short, he got a trach and was sent home on oxygen and a heart monitor with around the clock nurses. His room looked like a hospital and not a nursery!!

To make the story even shorter cause i could go on forever about it-lol After being home 2 weeks,his trachc ame out and no one could put it back in, had to call 911 and even the ems couldnt get it in. Got to the hospital and he was now in a coma. They ran all kinds of tests and found out there was no brain activity no nothing and tried to get me to pull him off. I refused!!! This is my son, i will take him home like this if needed. After i told them to leave me alone about it, not even 6 hours later, he came out of it. God is good!!!! Oh, i forgot something/ When his trach came out and before he lasped into the coma, he had no pulse or heartbeat so they worked and worked on him. The nurse asked the doc if he wanted to call it, and I SWEAR to you as soon as i heard her say that, i said,God if you take my child from me, make room up there cause i am coming with!! 5 SECONDS later, the nurse said, we have a pulse and heartbeat. Once again GOD IS GOOD!!

They said he would be a vegetable the rest of his life, never walk, never talk, never nothing!!! Well, i am here to tell you that the only thing they got right is that he is left handed-lol He has mild ceberal palsy,severe adhd,educational delays, and his mentality is that of a 3rd grader. One that looks at him says no way, he is as smart as a button, true but when it comes to common sense and reality he is just not getting it. Example, he still thinks that people in movies are like that in real life. High school musical, believes they all go to that school in real life.

Oh, the reason he got the trach is cause even at that little, he kept pulling out his breathing tube,even after they sedated him. Little bugger didnt want it in so by pulling it out and them putting it in, it caused scar tissue int he throat and it swelled so he had no airway. Okay i am done rambling. He is truly my miracle child and the only one God wanted to bless me with.
