I have spotted 2 so far, one is the size of a golfball, the other the size of a large marble. I have scads of green beans growing, and flowers on my peppers. And my cukes are starting to climb.

I took a very good red pepper I got at the grocery, thought......hhhmmmm, saved the seed pod, planted the seeds the next day, am getting little sprouts now. I do mostly container gardening. I have very sandy soil, and it costs a lot to amend it, so it is cheaper to get some big plastic pots, use some miracle gro and plant that way. They only thing I have found that loves sandy soil is green beans.

oh, I have tried those stripy tomatoes before, they have a different flavor from the regular kind. I did not care for them, but they are popular, you might love them.

sure..

you take bales of wheat hay.. an treat it with bloodmeal for 10 days.. then you just "plant" your tomato plants, peppers.. what ever into the hay, just like you would the dirt.. Let me see if I can find a link on it

here you go... only instead of the ammonium nitrate ..which is hard to find..you can use bloodmeal which is in walmart.
