I offered a wheelchair to someone for her mom on freecycle. She hasn't come to get it yet and this is what I got back from her today. I searched the obituaries and I found him. OMG how terrible!!

wow that is extremely sad, gave me chills

if she doesnt live to far you should offer to take the chair to her to save her the trouble and show your kindness.

After reading the obituary, her husband was 48. Her saving grace I guess could be that she has one son who is 21, married, with a wife and child. Plus the 4 younger boys . So maybe this older boy is mature enough to help her. Yes I take it one son is also hurt. I wish I could help her. But I don't know what to do. I know from previous email about the wheelchair that she helps take care of her parents though they are not much older than me. This is so tragic. It makes us know, no matter how bad off we are, there are always others worse off. I only found the obit by looking for a man about her age, who worked where she had told me her husband worked and with 4 boys and a wife named Lisa.

added: oldest married son is 25, other boys are 17, 16, 13, 7. She is 46. Yes we will take the wheelchair when I get the address. It is about 45 miles from here.

how very sad, maybe if not too far you could offer to take it to her considering the circumstances.

It is interesting how people end up connecting. I am very sad for her. I would offer to bring it to her. She could probably use the kindness now.
